How After the Tone Brought a Late Father’s Voice to a Baby Shower

In late 2023, Sarah and her husband Pascal received the happy news that they were expecting a baby girl. With this news, her father’s words echoed even more profoundly, especially after he unexpectedly and heartbreakingly passed away in 2022. Sarah thought there was no better way to remember him than through voicemails from his loved ones.

 “We wanted to honor his legacy while capturing this moment of joy with our families. When my cousin mentioned After the Tone, it felt like the perfect way to celebrate our daughter.”

Although Sarah’s father couldn’t leave his own voicemail, she found comfort in knowing that her friends and family could speak for him.

‍Sarah, originally from Maryland, now lives in Oregon where her husband is from. “Maryland will always hold a special place in my heart, but Oregon is where I find my peace. I knew I needed to have two baby showers to celebrate with everyone I love, no matter where they are.”
