We had a great experience with After the Tone! It's a fun and unique idea to replace the traditional guestbook at a wedding. We got 13mins of voicemails that were so fun to listen to after the wedding. We got some heartfelt messages, some silly, and some funny ones of friends getting drunk over the course of the night. Things I liked about it: I think it's easier for guests to share something fun or meaningful verbally over writing in a book; shipping and returning were pretty simple; set up was pretty simple; the digital recording is nice so we don't have the memory but without a big guestbook or signing board taking up physical space in our home; cost was prob more than a traditional guestbook but I thought reasonable for the service. The only problem was we had to put the phone off the to side at our wedding so the sound of the music/DJ wouldn't overpower the messages and for that reason, many people didn't see it. I think that could be solved with a more prominent sign or announcement telling guests about the phone. We wish we'd done that!

Absolutely loved having this experience at our wedding and will cherish our loved ones voices forever! I recommend putting a note to remind people or if you have a DJ for them to announce to leave a message as we didn't do that and would've loved if more of our guests could leave messages. Overall, would get again if we have another event like this!

There were a lot of things about our wedding that we absolutely loved. But having After The Tone....was such a big win! Receiving our voicemails back a few months after the wedding and listening to them was the sweetest moment. The sound quality was great! I was nervous because the phone was set up right by the dance floor but it didn't effect the recordings at all! Also, the fact that you can purchase a vinyl after you've received your voicemails is so helpful! We couldn't afford to order it from the beginning because all of the wedding expenses. But now we have a chance to get one! I highly recommend having After The Tone at your next special event!
